Kindly arrive at Pain Away Massage wearing a properly fitted mask that covers your mouth as well as your nose. A mask that is homemade which meets the requirements mentioned is also acceptable. Svetlana continuously follows the protocols given by the Ministry of Health and Public Health of Ontario which means that she will be wearing a properly fitted medical procedural grade mask. Other personal protective equipments such as gloves and shield aprons are recommended to combat the spread of COVID-19.
During such turbulent times, our registered massage therapist, Svetlana will need more time between client appointments to thoroughly disinfect the spaces used as well as allow for physical distancing. Walk-in patients at this time are currently not accepted and appointments are mandatory. Patients are instructed to come by themselves to their appointments. If you are accompanied by someone to our clinic, they will be asked to wait outside. If you have any concerns, please reach out and contact us.
If you have an appointment, you will be asked to arrive 5 minutes before your slotted appointment time and wait outside. When Svetlana is prepared, she will come to the door and let you in.
At Pain Away Massage we have removed anything that cannot be properly disinfected including fabric furniture which may lead to an empty feeling in the treatment room. That being said, the quality of our massages has not been abolished and if anything, our registered massage therapist, Svetlana, is working extra hard to provide you with the most excellent treatment available.
Before entering our clinic you will be asked to wash/sanitize your hands and upon you leaving the act of sanitization will be required.
Our disinfecting procedures and diligent cleaning which have already been in place before COVID-19, are now stricter than ever. The time between appointments at Pain Away Massage is more spread out to allow for the disinfection of our clinic between clients. Our tables in which the treatment occurs are prepared with a new and clean cloth for each client. At Pain Away Massage we will persist to sustain a level of excellence that our business’ reputation was built on.
Svetlana washes her hands and arms rigorously after the treatment has ended with soap and warm water before helping the patient out of the clinic. Immediately after the patient has left, Svetlana disinfects any area which has been exposed to the client. This includes any tools or equipment used alongside treatment tables, door handles, and much.
